Therapy Animals of San Antonio is an all volunteer non-profit organization. We are an affiliate member of the International Association of Human-Animal Interactions Organizations (IAHAIO) and a GuideStar Exchange Platinum Participant. Our mission since 1989 has been bringing people and animals together for healing. We do this with our therapy teams’ visits to hospitals and other facilities, educational presentations, and our StoryTails literacy program in the greater San Antonio area, as well as, our CARE program bringing teams with enhanced training to crisis situations across Texas. We provide support for therapy teams, who may choose to become registered with Therapy Animals of San Antonio or Pet Partners, Inc. (formerly Delta Society) and we support ongoing team development.

Our primary fundraiser each year is the Fiesta® Pooch Parade, an official Fiesta® San Antonio event. All proceeds from the parade support our local programs. We invite you to join our organization (with or without an animal), become a therapy team, and/or support us with a donation under DONATE or as a sponsor of the Fiesta® Pooch Parade.
