Thanks for your support, and please tell your family and friends about this opportunity to support us too.
Anyone can support Therapy Animals of San Antonio by purchasing a shirt. Only registered teams may purchase a vest for their therapy animal. Items will be sold at the Therapy Animals office (5815 Callaghan Rd., Suite 104, Summit II, San Antonio, TX 78228, map) during team trainings, screenings, and evaluations. While Therapy Animals of San Antonio would deeply appreciate being recognized directly in a person’s will, we understand that most people have family or dear friends for whom they wish to provide. There are occasions, however, when the persons or institutions named as beneficiaries in a will are not able to accept the assets intended for them nor are the other beneficiaries to whom the assets might otherwise go. In these cases, the unclaimed assets from the will are turned over to the state. However, there is an option that may be added to every will that identifies a contingent beneficiary that would be given any unclaimed assets; only if and when the assets are unclaimed as specified in the will.
You can easily add this provision to your will just by stating in it that Therapy Animals of San Antonio, a 501(c) (3) – Tax ID #: 74-2553380, is your contingent beneficiary should there be any unclaimed assets that would otherwise be released to the state. Thank you for considering this option.
