When did you and Darcy Lynn become a team? – June 2017.
What other partners have you had? – Currently partner with Darcy Lynn, Thomas, and Beauden.
In what type of facility are you visiting? – Elementary school.
In what other Therapy Animals activities do you and your partner participate? – StoryTails.
Tell us something about your partner that we may not know. – Darcy Lynn was born near Vienna Austria. She is the niece of one of my Shelties. Darcy Lynn loves to give hugs. When asked for a hug, she will put her front feet on your shoulder and press her little face to yours. The children are drawn to her I think because of her sweetness. Darcy Lynn has her Beginner Novice and Companion Dog titles in Obedience and is currently working to finished her Rally Excellent. Then on to Masters!
What Therapy Animals leadership position(s) do you currently have? – None.
What other leadership positions have you had? – None.
Tell us something about yourself that we may not know. – I am a sports shooter and love being at the range. I taught myself how to play piano and compose my own music. I also play Mountain Dulcimer and Guitar. I love competing with my Shelties in Obedience and Rally Obedience. Currently I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and enjoy seeing the happy smiles on the faces of the handlers when I say “Congratulations, you passed”.
